Q: Can lodging be arranged for me?

A: Absolutely! We offer package deals at some of Sitka's finest establishments at rates that can't be beat. If you are a landlubber and prefer solid ground instead of water, we will be more than happy to book your lodging for you at no charge.

Q: What about transportation?

A: All of the lodging establishments that we work with will provide transportation to and from the airport. However, if you are the type of person who likes independence, a car rental might better suite your needs. We would be happy to make arrangements for you or, if you choose, click on the About Sitka tab at the side of this page to locate a car rental agency in the Sitka area.

Q: Can arrangements be made to have our fish processed?

A: Yes, your fish will be iced-down while onboard for the day. Once we return to port, a local fish processing plants crew will meet us at the dock. You may have your fish filleted, packaged, and flash frozen in any style and portion size that you please. The 2005 season processing charges are $2.00 per pound (finished product weight), and will be boxed and delivered to you at the airport when you check in for your flight. The fish processing company will ensure that you receive the same fish that you caught.

Q: When is the best time to come fishing?

A: Generally speaking, May and June are best for King Salmon, and July through early September are the peak months for Halibut and Silver Salmon. Please consult the Saltwater species chart by clicking on the Saltwater Fishing tab.
